We have watched this forum for over a year now and have gotten a lot of useful information. We have owned our MH about a year now. As we are gearing up to do more traveling we hope to participate in this forum more often. Thanks to all of you that have provided information for us "newbies"

We are planning on attending the Rally in Perry, GA in March. I notice a dance with a St. Patricks Day theme is on the agenda. How much do the attendees get into the attire for these dances -- Bluejeans or formal dress. Help me out ladies. Any comments on this rally would be appreciated.

Perry GA is the big National Good Sam Rally, I believe..

For what it's worth.. been to one State Good Sam Rally.. At the STATE rally that I attended.. some folks get into the theme and come to events in full costume (some very nice, much work & thought) it goes down hill from there to shorts & flip-flops (me).. and everything in between..

People RV differently.. some have their rigs set up just like home, china plates & wine cellar (basement of MH) and dress for dinner.. to paper plates & BBQ most nights.. I have brought a pair of Khaki Dockers with me if I know I'm going to a nice event but I have also been on a 4 week rally trip (Branson) and wore short pants exclusively ..

One nice thing about the RV lifestyle is the variety.. wear your tails & top hat or shorts and boat shoes.. I'm sure that you will be welcomed at the dance..

droneb,

I know you've been "lurking" for a while but welcome to the "posting" side of irv2. Look forward to hearing of your adventures.

I'm assuming you have a Workhorse engine on the 38J so as you gear up for more traveling may I also suggest you consider the Workhorse Fall Rally in Myrtle Beach.
