Flat Tire and NO Cell Service.
What do you have to be prepared for having a flat and you are out of cell service by many miles?
I carry an unmounted spare, wheel wrench, torque multiplier, jack and air compressor. I also have tire irons, etc.
Has anyone done their own tire change? I have done them on semis when I was still working.
Or do you just hope help comes along? Jump in the toad and go for help?

My lug nuts require 450 ft/lbs. of torque. You are equipped for that? I have a W22 with 22.5 inch tires.
My answer is launch the toad and camp.

Some years back I had a front tire blow on a dark lonely road at one pm,luckily it was a 36 gas Newmar that carried a spare. It really was not that hard to change it.I always carry tools and I could use onboard jacks.

My lugs take 500 ft lbs as molded into the lug nuts themselves. And yes I have a torque multiplyer, but no way am I going to wrestle with a tire/rim combo that weighs almost as much as I do!
Get in towed and drive till I have service to call CoachNet.

I usually carry a floor jack in the rear of my pickup, if the TT has a flat I also carry a socket, ratchet and extension handle, hopefully I can change it without to many problems

Yep, 22.5's and torque multiplier will do the job.

Had that experience. Was halfway between Marathon, Tx and Big Bend NP on a Sunday morning when an outside tire threw its tread. By the time it took to check cell phone for service (none) get out of the seat and open the door, Border Patrol was there alongside me. He used his radio to give dispatch my GSERS number and location. Three and a half hours later service truck shows up and half hour later I was on my way.

Ham radio - call for help using it, is what I would do. Failing that I would get in the sheep and go find a cell signal.
No way I'm going to carry or use the equipment to change myself...

I am an armature radio operator and carry enough gear to call for help from anywhere.

That's the method I used. It's a lot easier than carrying all the junk you need to change it yourself.
