Flat towing with Tiffin 35QBA
Hello I am new on the forum and need some help. I have a tiffin 35qba gasser and trying to make sure I can flat tow a new 2015 jeep grand Cherokee. Everything I read shows my gvwr at 24000 lbs and a gcwr at 30000 lbs. I checked the curb weight of this vehicle and it says like 4800 lbs for a limited. My hitch rating is 5000 lbs. so doing all of the math I should have no problem and be legal. Please help

You are right at the upper limits, but should be ok. I tow a ~5000 lb jeep.

Please notice there is 6,000lb between your GVWR (max weight allowed on the RV's axles) and the GCWR (max rolling mass - loaded RV and towed load).
See more here: Glossary
As long as you stay below your GVWR, the limit to towing is the hitch capacity, not the RV's drive-line.
No problem as long as the Jeep is not loaded too heavy.
Safe travels

If you really want to know your situation, weigh the MH and Jeep loaded as you travel, then run your numbers.

There is no problem towing in the hills/mountains with a gas powered RV. The RV might slow to 30-45MPH from long steep hills, but remember it is not a sports car.
And be aware that gas engines develop the max HP at the higher RPM range. If your RV has a Ford Triton V10, that means the max HP is developed at around 4,000RPM.
It might seem like the engine is screaming and it will be a bit noisy, but it is made to do that. The main thing to watch is the temperature gauge. Do not let the engine over heat from pulling too hard for too long. When entering the hills, manually de-select over-drive (turn-on tow/haul mode if equipped). If the temp starts to get too high, pull-over with the engine running and let it cool down.
Safe travels

Had a Allegro 34 2008 and towed a Saturn 3000 Ibs. No problem.

Where did you get the weight of your Jeep? When I weighed my MH at the truck stop scales it also weighed my Jeep @3800 lbs.
Have a nice day - Darrel
