Will Ford document the Fleetwood alterations for you? A letter from a lawyer might be in order. Good luck.

This has nothing to do with Ford as it is all modifications that Fleetwood does in conjunction with the motorhome install.

Pretty much drops it in Fleetwoods lap then. But, here again, the Moss-Magnusson Act applies since Fleetwood is the manufacturer of the complete vehicle and modified it.
Fleetwood buys the chassis from Ford as an "incomplete vehicle", then modifies it and adds the house. At that point Fleetwood becomes the manufacturer of the complete vehicle and they have to warranty the modifications made.

We got 2012 Fleetwood Bounder in July and had several issues. It did take some time working with the dealer and there were some heated conversations but all in all they made it right. I am sorry to hear about your issues. Have you done any thing with the BBB or local TV news providers.

Finally got ahold of Fleetwood Warranty directly and was informed that the dealer that looked at the emissions system had told Fleetwood that the problems were caused by the after-market add-ons without even bothering to look at the coach to determine what was causing the problems. Once they were directly involved things were resolved in a timely manner. They also wanted more information with my original issues when the coach was first delivered, so it seems that they will take care of the issues when contacted directly and informed first hand of the issues.

That's GREAT news! I'm glad that Fleetwood got involved and made it right for you.

It would be great if everyone was close enough to take the coach back to Decatur to get their problems resolved. Fortunately, we are close enough (2hours) and have never taken our coach to a dealer. FW has stood behind their warranty for us with no questions asked and resolved problems without us even knowing about them.
