Florida Gator spring game in rv

Anyone done the orange and blue game in a motor home? Is there RV parking near the stadium for it? Is it possible this late to get a spot?

Just had an email this week....they are considering reserved spots in the big commuter lot...$75 for the weekend. We normally can't arrive until 6:30pm and game time is 7:00. Kind of not great planning.

I will call them today. Worst case I call around Alachua or Lake City and find a spot for the night.


Its funny actually, the spring game is seldom convenient and I always have to catch it on TV. We were scheduled to be driving from Orlando back home to Atlanta on Saturday ...might as well leave a day early and take the kids to their first spring game (and for one of them, their first visit to the swamp!)

I stay for all the home games at Travelers Campground in Alachua. Easy access from I-75 and 15 minute drive to the stadium.

Doesn't sound fan friendly....BUT YOU can come to Tally for the Garnet and Gold game....see a great team....park at the Stadium Friday to Sunday...for $50.00.....Go Noles......only spoofing with ya...have a great spring game

Unless it has changed even during regular home games you can park Free at the back lot of the Orthopaedics on 34 th st and Hull Road on a first come first serve basis, you are allowed to enter after 5pm the night before the game. Its not close but nice walk unless you have limitations.

That lot is split into half pay half first come so limited, but I would bet accessible for Orange and Blue.

Wife and I both retired from U F she did 28 yrs multiple departments, I did 26 yrs 12 with athletic dept 14 with Recreational Sports.

There will be people there but the 7pm just doesn't work well with Friday traffic.

Ha Ha! Yeah, I make reservations for all the home games and then just send them one check.......once I can find one. It's a different type of campground. Make time to see the animals they have; Ostrich, donkey, horse, goats, peacocks, birds.

There is a Waffle House, Pizza Hut, Sonny's, McDonalds right by the campground. Take 441 all the way to the University.

This is what I stay in instead of my MH. Has A/C, bathroom, bed, etc.
