Florida licence plates

I am a Michigan snowbird and spend 6mos in Florida. Mich plates are based on the original price of the unit when new.I want to register and purchase Fla plates. Does anyone know what the requirements are and what is required to obtain them

There are a lot of variables.

Here is a link to the Florida DMV. You can even ask a question directly at the site.
