RE: love bugs....

They's out in the Tampa area. Have been for almost a week because we've skipped over Spring this year & have moved into the FL rainy [& HOT] season early...

Can't mention "global warming" as the cause of the abnormally early hot weather down here; Gov. Scott would have us ostracized post haste!

Keep them down there. I am heading to the Gulf coast of Alabama next week and I don't want to deal with them.

Today (4/17/15) drove from Chiefland Fl down US19 to Tampa Bay area. Had a few of the nasty critters on the windshield/front cap. Its very warm for this time of year, so love bugs may be out a bit early.

Put Rejex on your front cap , windshield and mirror frame and you won't have to worry because " nothing sticks to it but the shine "

Sorry, but I've been seeing them for last 4 days. You can avoid alot of carnage by starting out early in the morning. They generally roll out of bed around 10AM and get tired of dying around dusk. But please, do get out there and kill your required quota... it's a state law!

Edit: Never mind, I didn't see the post date...too late. But, I'll leave this up for other 'bug smashers'.

Took the coach out about 11 this morning to charge the batteries, and ran into them about halfway to I-75 on Hwy 52 east and man were they bad. Stopped at Flying J to top off the tank and to clean the off the windshield.
Headed back home and they were worse than the drive over, shortly after getting home it rained really hard. Between the rain and the hose got all of them off. Don't think I've ever seen this bad since I've lived here.

Seeing them en masse here in Clermont! Travelling on SR 27 won't be fun.
