Florida motorhome insurance thru roof
I bought my 2006 Holiday rambler Vacationer diesel in 2007 1 year old. My insurance was around 1000 per year ,last year 1400 per year now 1900 per year. Progressive quoted me 3900. Where does it end. I guess 1 more nail in the rv industry coffin.I have never had a ticket or accident.

Have you tried some of the insurance companies listed in the FMCA magazine. As you may know, automotive ins has several factors they use for ratings. One of the most important is the county you park the MH in (we live in Leon county). We pay $1100 (started out $1000) with the 5 year replacement coverage with a $500 deductible. 100/300/50 coverage. s/Toby

Try getting a quote from these folks, they're in Ft Lauderdale. I switched to them a few years ago and so far have been pleased.

Progressive used to be the lowest I could find, but each year they've increased so much they priced themselves out of my budget. I called the Gecko's outfit the other day and cut my insurance bill in half. Same for the auto insurance.

Only need a squeeky clean record...

Hi thmdamit,
Try the different insurance brokers that advertise in FMCA and Good Sam publications. They check several companies to get the best rate. I use Farm and City at RV Advantage | FCIS Insurance - RV Insurance, Motor Home Insurance, Travel Trailer Insurance .
