Fluttering brake lights

I have a 2006 Simba Safari and am having problems with the brake lights. When they brakes are applied the red LED brake lights just flicker. The orange LED turn signals work fine. Anyone have any ideas? It is a gas RV on a Freightliner chassis.

My first thought would be a bad ground. Could be corrosion on a terminal

Did you just change them to LED. They may be poor quality LED or need additional equipment to make hem work properly.

Well this certainly does look like not a secure contact in the lights or a ground. Ok when you say apply brakes do we assume you are testing and MH is standing still?

Get a multimeter and test the connection and where the wires make connection to the light socket/fixture. This could also be in the wire coupling(s). Make sure the wire coupling is well seated.

Otherwise you will need to go to shop.

Some LED lights require a resistor inline due to low current draw of LED's, but if the turn signal LED's work I doubt that is the problem unless corrosion is the problem. Some LED's are vulnerable to low voltage.

Brake switch off the pedal might be intermittent
