Flying j overnighter was packed

This morning I stopped for gas at Flying J . I was in my car on my way back from Fl. I thought there was an RV Sales lot next to the J. There was at least 50 overnighters in all sorts of rigs and trailers parked there and several had their sides out. Threes Cheers for the J to provide a quick rest stop for RVers.

REST stop?

Sounds more like a CAMPING spot!

The nearest Walmart must have had a "NO RVs!" policy, and FJ was taking up the slack!

Yep. April 1 is right around the corner. Time for those snowbirds to head back home. They might wanna wait a bit longer or at least take their time. It sure isn't Spring up here yet. Matter of fact, Winter is holding on for dear life.

We've definitely seen the snowbird flow here in Cheyenne this past week!

I can tell it's time when I start seeing the car carriers loading cars. MAN, this Easter weekend the beach is packed like sardines here in Sarasota (Siesta Key Beach), Florida.

You did not see me, I avoid truck stops when I can because I hate to listen to the big rigs idle their engines, come and go, and listen to their refers all nite long.

We are heading South for Spring Break on the 3rd and have planned to stay at over options. The j fills up real fast with our friends from Canada at this time of year.

We were headed back from Disney World to PA. We stopped at the Wal-Mart in Walterboro, SC Friday night around 11:30pm. There had to be at least 40 RVs and there were a couple that followed us in at the same time.

Picture only shows a couple as I was tired and ready to head to bed.

Seems that there are more and more people that are too cheap to pay for a place to camp.

Probably not a good idea to go there.

Guess with all the snowbirds heading north, the availability of campsites down south is improving. Maybe now's the time to head that direction.
