Flying J is a pain, I do not use them...or any of the big truck stops. There are enough other stations that can handle big rigs that I avoid the hassle.

Why not ask them? See "Just Conversation" thread (next one down) and there is a sticky directly attaching you to an RV specialist at FJ........

Unless something has changed in the last two weeks that I am not aware of everything is still good. We used three on I-10, cards work and parking was available.

I hope they still have parking. We plan to stop (not overnight) at New Milford, PA off 81 to check on the card and maybe fuel up if we need around Halloween. Post back if you go through before then please.
We don't need to use FJ for overnight but find it convenient for some rest, fuel and something to eat if we want. I don't mind if the fuel is a little higher figuring even at 10¢ higher and 50 gallons the $5 is worth the overnight accommodations. We also feel safer parked with a bunch of other RVs. It can be too bright and noisy but if we are in an FJ we are usually road weary and rest comes easy.

As of 2 days ago, there is parking at the New Milford, PA FJ and they have water and dump station by the RV pumps.

No, there is no truth to it.
With only a few exceptions reported, the cards are working fine. Depending upon whether you use the RV pumps or truck pumps there are different procedures so be sure you understand how to use the card and you will be fine.
Now, is Flying J still the best choice? Maybe not. Before the merger we traveled coast to coast from FJ to FJ. Since the merger with Pilot we can usually find much better fuel prices elsewhere and we likely only hit "the J" a few times per year any longer.

While I still like Flying J's overall as Bill said their prices are no longer as friendly. So we still use them but are far more selective as to when and if we fuel there. Otherwise we still patronize the restaurant, use the dump station and sometime pick up a few items in the store.

Is there any truth to it: Well, kind of depends.
Over the years the Campground Owners ASSN, has petittioned cities, counties and states to allow RV parking (While occupied) ONLY in licensed campgrounds (Their paying members of course). Some Flying=J's are located in such cities, counties or states and thus can not, by law, allow overnighting.
In addition... (I do not know how true this is today) At one time Flying-J was in an expansion mode.. They would, on occasion buy another station (Say a Pilot) and convert it, and till the conversion was finished there was no RV parking. Others may have to temporarly suspend RV overnight parking due to repairs and such.
(OF course today Flying-J is owned by Pilot)
But I have yet to see a J I could not overnight at save as noted above.

Check out using the Wal-Mart Gift Card for a 10¢ discount at Murphy's
I switched from Flying J's higher prices this summer to the better price of Murphy's.
In all the past years, Flying J had 99% of my Diesel buying. But all that changed after the Pilot buy out and higher prices.

Not sure why people (RV'ers) don't like to use the truckers fuel lanes? It's easier to get in and then to get out of than the RV lanes which you must make this tight turn out as leaving the pumps. Overnight parking - just finished a 4000 mi. trip not in your direction but used many P/FJ's and saw no signs preventing overnight parking. Cost diff. we are talking pennies which I know can add up, yet we drive vehicles that cost several hundred thousand dollars with other vehicles behind them that aren't cheap, we have subscriptions for satellite tv and internet which all adds up!

I have never had a good meal at Denny's( I know many others swear by them) so when they changed over it was one more reason for me not to stop.
