Question FMCA any advantages for Canadians ?

Am I reading this right, that most advantages of this program seem to not apply to Canadians, ie Michelin tire pricing, Insurance pricing, cell phone rates.
Are these things US only. Are the Park Rates reduced enough to pay for the membership.

From what I gather, Canadians come to the US to purchase high dollar items including tires. If you are a member of FMCA, all benefits are available to you including the tire program. If you are going to purchase in Canada, contact FMCA and inquire about a dealer there that participates in the program.

We dropped FMCA after the first year. We found that while traveling, the paltry 10% CG discount they offer was eaten up if we had to drive any more than a (very) few miles out of our way. If you're a 'destination' camper staying for extended times, that would probably pay for the membership in short order.

We enjoyed parts of the FMCA magazine, but found it more of an advertising vehicle. Also, their rallies are not our cup of tea...YMMV.
