I am considering using Rejex on the front cap of the 5er to make it easier to remove bugs. I would like to hear the opinions of ONLY those who have acutally used it! Thanks to all who can help me on this decision!

I've used it for the past two years prior to any trip I take. It makes it MUCH easier to remove and clean bugs when you're through travelling. I highly recommend this product.

I use it. It is very easy to apply, easier than wax. You just wipe it on and wipe it off. After application bugs can be wiped right off with just a damp cloth, no elbow grease needed. This is a polymer product, not a wax so make sure that you remove any wax before application and dont wax over it once its applied. It will last 6 months to a year depending on use.

I have used it for three years on the front cap and the windshield.

Works great! I don't know about wiping the bugs off with a damp cloth but the bugs-including the loveable lovebug comes off easily.

Jim, I didn't realize you could put it on the windshield!

I think it works better than Rain X on the w/s, Joe.

I'll keep that in mind and give it a try. I'm picking up a bottle of Rejex at a True Value hardware tommorrow.

Joe,

I've been using it for at least 6 years now. Used it on our old 03 Allegro and now use it on our 06 Allegro. I also use it on the MC and other vehicles. It works great on the windows and mirrors.

If you can't find it at your True Value Hardware store you can order it online here.

RejeX: Nothing Sticks but the Shine!

I buy it by the gallon and it usually lasts me a couple of years.

Jon

Thanks everyone for your comments! Sounds like it's the right choice. A local boat repair shop wanted to put on something similar to the Rejex but that is supposed to last several years. The catch is that he wanted $400 just to put it on the front cap!
