i know this may not belong in a FRv forum, but we bought a 12 Honda and plan on hauling it with our trailer. For the times when we are on it, I was wondering where you guys find your headsets? We were quoted about $400 for set at the shop. That seems rediculous. Do any of you know where to get some reasonably priced?

Hi Tammy; not sure what kind of bike you have, I never heard of a 12 Honda. We ride a Goldwing, not real practical to haul with your Trailer. We are looking into Toy haulers and a special bracket to hold it down. We have a intercom system with the wing, but J&M carries some. Big bike also carries some helmet to helmet type, We have also seen folks with the small 2 way radios and the hands free headsets.

Have fun and stay safe on those 2 wheels

Sorry, I mistyped. it is a 1300 VTX R honda.
I would think the 2 way radios with headsets should work, and prob a lot less expensive. We really like the GoLdwings, but needed something a little smaller for whe he was going to haul it.

That sounds like you will enjoy riding that one. Find a local Bike shop, or try some of the on line ones. The other i remembered is J&P they carry lots of stuff. If you love to ride and want to meet others that do, you have red rider which is Honda's group. We belong to the GWTA (Goldwing Riders Touring Association ) they don't care what you ride all you have to do is want to ride. you can find them at http://www.gwta.org . We are planning to attend the 2006 rally in the Smokies, and we are bringing the wing if I have to drive it all the way and Cheri pulls the camper. There are some great roads there to be ridden. Hope you can think about it and join us.
