I need to take a drive around here... I've seen several within about 5 or 6 miles of the house that look pretty derelict.

The problem I have around here is the ones that look abandoned, are sometimes occupied!

One of our neighbors has a late '70s/early '80s vintage Holiday Rambler Class C that in the almost 24 years we have lived in the neighborhood has never moved. They keep it covered so suspect it's in reasonable physical shape - but to 'bring it back' to be usable mechanical condition would not be inexpensive fun. A few miles away is an 'A' that is so weathered that the wall studs are showing in relief through the fiberglass siding. I'm not comfortable in taking photos of either.

almost every street in portland has one or two.the homeless have gobbled up anything that can be moved, it is an epidemic that seem no answer.
the police enforce the rules they push pull or drive them down a block or two and it starts all over.

Here are a couple of pictures I took of a boneyard full of campers last November. It was just Southwest of Williston, ND. When the oil boom kind of went belly up, many of these people could not afford to get out of town. If you double click on the photos I think they can be enlarged. Probably a lot of salvageable items, etc. in these campers. SAD SIGHT for sure.

There's an "abadoned" RV in the storage spot next to mine. Tires are flat, antenna's hanging of the side, siding blew off in the hurricane, covering mine with insulation and bits of plywood. I've got to wonder why someone is spending money to store it.

Great photo, Old-Biscuit. Did you take it? Makes you kinda sad just looking at it - almost hear the wind moaning through the broken windows.
