We were there in July, stayed in the 1400 loop. Our site did have cable with a solid assortment of stations. Being you are on property there are multiple channels with info on the parks and things to do. My kids really enjoyed a channel that was a endless loop of the old cartoons. Aside from the Disney channels, there was a decent amount of “regular” stations availible as well.
WiFi coverage was very solid, it was actually good enough that I ran a Speedtest one night just to see how good it was. 19MBS down and 7MBS up. Obviously this will vary based on your location in the campground but we were very surprised at how seamless it worked.
The WiFi coverage in the parks is pretty solid as well. (Disney REALLY wants you using their apps while onsite and has put a solid infrastructure in place to support it). It can make your experience more “staring at the phone” then I would prefer, but the ability to see ride wait times and adjust your path, make and modify fast passes as well as being able to order food so it’s ready when you get to the restaurant are a few examples of why.
The new “play” app had just come out when we were there, still a “beta” product but it’s designed to interact with the line que while waiting in line, does help reduce the boredom for the little ones.
We are on Verizon and I don’t recall there ever being a time where we didn’t have signal. Despite the large number of people everything worked “like usual” as well. I’ve been to some sporting events where the signal was solid, but so many people were connected to the tower that it acted like there was no signal.
Lastly, if the Hoop Dee Doo Review isn’t on your plans, HIGHLY recommended.
