No unfortunately no chip. These people were frantically searching for her then they just disappeared. Camp has had no luck contacting them. If anyone knows how to repost on Good Sam or anywhere else campers would see please do so. Its been awhile over a year since she was lost but I bet they would love to get their pet back.

You mean the one that stomps their front feet and throws their tail over their head?

Not a state park in a private campground in the state of Washington. I'd have to go back to the FB posts to get name but its definitely not a state park. Also we cat lovers do find this serious because when you lose a pet its like losing a child. Thanks for asking.

I know if I had lost my dog I would have left my and my wife's cell phone along with email had I not been able to stay another day. Then again he stays on a leash.
Hope the owner gets it back.

For some people, it is as bad as a lost child.

I chuckled at the humor too, but I'd really smile if the owner and pet were reunited.

We are cat people too. A few years ago we had our big black cat Kingsford with us on a trip to Chincoteague Island, VA. He was diabetic so we had to give him insulin shots daily.
Anyway, one evening at the campground he followed me out the door and ducked under the rig. I was busy grilling and we didn't notice until an hour or so later that he was missing. By then it was pitch black out.
Ever try to find a black cat in a pine forest in the dark? Not easy.
After walking and driving around looking for him in the dark for about two hours with flashlights, we were about to give up when DW suggested we turn off the lights and just see what happens.
Lo and behold, he came out of nowhere, scared to death. We were so relieved to see him; the thought of leaving him there in his condition was heartbreaking.
A pet is a pet, whether it's dog, cat, bird or gerbil. So yes, I understand when one gets lost, how upsetting that can be.

You know we choose to have pet's and when we do,we should do our best to see to their need's and when they become lost we should do what is right and treat them like part of the family, and after all they are part of God's creation and he allow's us to have them Nuf said, hope i didn't offend any one .
