It is very close to the center of Dickinson and is easy to get to on Hwy 1266. It appears that the weekly rate is $10 cheaper than Green Caye.

In all honesty, if you can get in I would give it a try. It is a lot smaller (site wise) than Green Caye. it is more centrally located to the area amenities, and my house is still close, like 12 miles one route, and 11 miles another.

It is nice.

Dennis, if you have not made reservations yet, and with your passenger, you may want to consider giving it a try.

As I said, there are a lot of RV parks in the area. Some as good, some not so nice.

Take a look at Palms RV Park in Bing.com/maps. Look at the Birds-eye-view and zoom way in for their layout.

Green Caye layout. Zoom way in for good birds-eye-view.

I hope I wasn't to late in getting this information to you.
I have reservation for green caye. Don't like change.

You don't like change! Yeah right! You don't want to be a mile further away from the apple pie.

WayneM...what's she bringing Saturday? It wouldn't be anything with bananas in it would it?

Why Jim, she's bringing me, isn't that enough? I'm just so lovable, right.

Edited: I called Earlene in and showed her this part of the thread. She said, "Oh no! Tell Judy, she has the same recipe."

So, how much will you pay me to see if I can get her to bake?

Thanks everyone for your opinions and advice. We crossed the Fred Hartman Bridge, I survived, and we made it down here to Green Caye RV Park. Just resting tonight it was a stressful ride for me.
BTY I never opened my eyes but my husband was impressed.

Thanks Wayne and Earlean for a wonderful day and the great apple pie. Also thank you for the suggestion to stay at Green Caye. It is so clean and the wi-fi here is the best we have had all month. The price is right and they have every thing we need. The showers are actually a full CLEAN private bathroom, with doors that lock and some with tubs. www.greencayervpark.com

We are in San Antonio now and were pretty nervous when the tornado came thru. I have never been in a RV when it rained like that. It sounded like I was in a tin can going thru a carwash. I had no idea where to go. Thank God the tornado missed here, we are southwest of the city.

Which campground did you settle on in SA?

We enjoyed your company. Hope you stop by our way again.

Happy trails.

I look every day for pie in the fridge, but ah, not there.

We can go out and buy one though, so don't worry.

When will you be here?
