Free parking by the water and highway in lower FL, past thread

A few months ago I recall seeing a thread about the above which now for the life of me I can not locate. Does anyone know about it.

Now that I live in FL I’d like someplace like that for a quick overnight trip to just sit by the water instead of the bus just sitting in the driveway attracting dust.

You are indeed correct, I’ve actually been there to take a look see in a car when I first got here. Not too far away from home in fact it looks like a good place too park in the day time and loaf around or just sleep in the bus with the windows open.

Can you tell I’m getting bored here!

Yes, but it's a good bore, I just got back from 3 mos. In Miami, give me that boredom anytime. I have a friend that lives there and when I go down, we go there to do some fishing and have some down time, nobody bothers you at all. Let me tell you it's cold here in Virginia.

I know they are not free but if you're bored....there is a ton of State parks here - yes they may still be full with snow birds, but they will be emptying soon.

Check them out - you could spend a week in one and keep moving each week to the next and still not stay in all in one year.
