Fresh Water Tank Level Indicator?

We have a 2016 Jayco Alante 26X. The fresh water level indicator is not working. As I was filling the tank the level indicator went to 1/3 and then stopped. I know the tank was full because water was running on the ground from the overflow. After cutting the water off I checked the level again and it was reading E. I connected to the black water tank flush connection to fill that tank to check to see if it would read the level in that tank. I stopped filling it at the 1/3 reading. It's not an electrical problem seeing how it is lighting up. With that said, where do I start checking to find the problem with the fresh water tank?

Open the bay with the freshwater tank. Are all three sensors still attached or has one or more fallen free? If one or more is hanging, double sided trim tape from an auto parts store will fix it up.

Got under the motorhome for a look see at all of the wiring at the fresh water tank. After moving the wires going to the tank I found a small white wire that had broken at the butt joint. Cut off the old butt joint and connected the two wire ends together and went inside to see if I had a tank reading. YES the tank level indicator is working again.
