Unhappy Fridge fire coach pictures

Saw this Winnebago for sale on E-Bay that said DAMAGED. Upon further reading it stated this Vector model had fire damage from a refrigerator fire. The photos in the add are darn scary of what these fires can do.

Just thought I would share. Open below link to view.

I can't figure out how the outside of the Winnie survived almost intact. But, imagine what the interior was like during the fire with THAT kind of damage. Wow!
When will RV manufacturers stop selling coaches with built-in fire bombs? The first step could be not installing refrigerators in slide- outs.
For me the disadvantage of having to recharge the house batteries with the genset once a day Ito keep my Samsung cold is minor compared with the risks that are demonstrated on a regular basis.

That would some project for someone handy in interior work. If my father was younger, he would be all over it if the price was right. Right up his alley.

You would think with today's technology, someone would come up with a frig system that didn't burn up like all these RV's we have seen over the years. Maybe not enough people have died yet for the Government to take notice.

Boy I sure hope they got out that rear window and are okay. Yes it was a very nice MH. Bummer. Glad I still have the old "small" fridge in the 82 PA... I don't recall ever seeing this happen to those.???

We have friends that lost a coach to a No Cold refer fire. Not a lot of damage but the damage by smoke was what totaled it. Adjuster said the only way to get the smoke smell out was to remove everything affected by the smoke which meant most of the interior. Then they would treat anything left and after doing all that, there was no guarantee that the smell wouldn't come back..

This coach is good for parts.
