Well hindsight being very good, guess I should have filled up at $2.73 yesterday as it was $2.79 today which made my 30 gallons of diesel a buck eighty more today (or almost enough for a small Starbucks coffee)

Gas in CA locally $3.35 and up. Diesel is actually less than gas for the first time in years.

I forgot to fuel PU yesterday and along the 60 mile commute the low fuel indicator dinged.

Dang it, I need to get fuel in Clark County instead of Nye. Found fuel in Vegas for $2.55.

Nye County fuel taxes are lower, but $2.55 is very cheep for Vegas.

We are heading out for our September road trip and gas prices now in MA are $2.45 or so which is at least $1.00 + less than they were last year on our trip. So we should be saving a bunch on gas this trip.

Heading to the southeast states so hope the prices are about the same down there.

We are leaving tomorrow, Monday, for a 4-6 week Western swing. I just looked at diesel prices in most states we will be at least crossing on Gas Buddy (GasBuddy.com - Find Low Gas Prices in the USA and Canada). Diesel seems to be cheaper everywhere but Upstate NY where I just filled at a whopping 'low' for us of $2.69 vs well over $4/gallon (converted from liters) last year in the Canadian Maritimes. I can 'handle' the current prices with much happiness, especially with today's inflated cost-of-living

You must be in the Eastern part of Upstate NY. Here in the West we are still at $2.99 and the lowest I've seen for diesel is $2.77. We always have the highest fuel prices here in Upstate and I have no idea why.
