I don't know who's taking care of the truckers, but it appears their cost's are being covered up front or they would be raising cane. It appears to me that transportation costs are being sent our way in an effort to keep any organized protest by the truckers from happening.
In Florida there is a State law, believe it or not, that the price advertised to the public can not vary more than a few cents in any given area. That just adds fuel to the fire for raising prices and keeping it there.
The state started to look into that and it was shown on the news, one time. That was the last time it was heard.
All of us in Florida need to question the legislation via your state rep.
But like was stated above, the price seems to be the same everywere. That means its coming out of one central location via computer each day.
Here we have $ 0.54 Cents per gallon of tax on diesel. This tax should not be more than gasoline which is $ 0.35 cents per gallon. The tax on diesel is a tax on corporations that use the fuel for business. They can deduct the cost, so it does not mean anything to them. We could see a $ 0.20 cent per gallon drop here if all of us that arn't a corporation using diesel,
It took a long time to do, but it appears a lot of people are making money on fuel price speculation via the stock market.
I wonder want the real price of a barrel is at the ships loading dock.
