You want me to NOT get propane or dump, so you and others don't have to wait to get gas ?

Maybe YOU and the crowd could go across the street and get gas, where they DON'T sell propane.

I have a real problem with the truck lanes at P/FJ...

EVERY time we stop, a trucker comes up to me and complains:
we're jealous ... nice rig! .... where ya heading?... etc...

And since I usually like to fuel up on the way into a park, so I don't have to bother with it when leaving,
I'll ask them what's good to do, eat, etc... around here
and have found some GREAT hole in the walls that way !

I agree. If that's the way they set it up, that's the way it has to be used.
If you follow this logic, you've soon got "you folks with 100 gallon tanks need to go somewhere else, so that those of us with smaller tanks can go first, because we won't take a long as you"

I don't care what you do if you are the only one there. Gas, LP, dump, eat, shop, whatever. But when there is a line behind you, be considerate and get your LP and dump somewhere else.

Last time (the only time) I mistakenly pulled into the truck lanes, they only had diesel.
Wow, did someone get up on the wrong side of the bed with their panties in a bunch?

Yes.

I did. I went down the road to Chevron. It's better gas anyway.

Not at all. Just wish some would have consideration for others. There are plenty of places to get LP and dump. Like the park you were just in or are going to.

The PFJ as it is a great place to fuel. One of my favorite things about them is the Windshield cleaning equipment. Easy to use, reaches all the way to the top of the windshield and their cleaning solution works better then most places.

I stay at Federal, State and County campgrounds, when I am not at Wal-Mart or Flying J or family's homes.

The first 3 don't sell propane and some Federal sites charge $10.00 for dumping waist not generated in their site.

I patronize Flying J because the let me overnight there. Its the least I can do.

Their propane tanks are layed out so I don't have to back up. This is something I can't do with a toad. Many propane dealers don't set it up that way.

I often purchase gas and on ocassion propane, dump my tanks and fill up with water.

The layout is a little inconvenient to others but I don't block all of the pumps.

If I was waiting for propane and someone asked me to move, to get to one of the many gas pumps, I would smile and say "Sure thing, as soon as I'm done here "

I have filled my propane tank at the PFJ. It really didn't take all that long. Actually it was a little fasster than gassing up so I don't see a problem either way.

Plus CG's are usually about $1 higher per gallon than you can get it at FJ.

I have no problem people taking time, IF, they are actually working toward their goal of getting gas, propane or dumping.

I once pulled into a station that had 3 pumps spread out for 3 vehicles. A young guy and girl pulled into the very first pump, got out and went into the store blocking the other 2 pumps. I don't know what they did, but they were in there at least 10 mins before coming back out to pump fuel.
