How do you full timers get your weather. It seems the Weather Channel has turned into the Weather History Channel with "Storm Stories" etc.
Internet sites? Local tv?

I'm not a fultimer Don, but I do agree that the Weather Channel has wandered off course. Here is a site I use most.

We also use NOAA and have a nice Midland Emergency Weather Alert Radio that you can program areas down to a single zip code so not to be bothered by an alert of too large an area.

I would not leave home without a wx radio with an auto alert alarm system. Traveling in new areas and not familiar with the wx patterns would keep me concerned. You could get a good one for about 25/30 bucks. Just another thing to do when you set-up-- is to get the local wx channel.
The problem with the tv channels are they talk about counties and other local landmarks that you are not familiar with, so sometimes they leave you guessing. The Cable Wx channel lets you know its rainig somewhere in the NW or SW, but locally, they are not worth much IMHO

Use a Sierra Wireless 750 AirCard in laptop. Pick the towns on yahoo home page in advance so I can get the current plus extended forcast with a click. Also allows viewing large number of towns at once.

Been meaning to get an emergency weather alert radio, on list of things to due. Time to move it closer to the top. Thanks for making me think about it.
