"fullview" window awnings?

Has anyone installed window awnings with the "full view" material offered by Carefree? Bolcks 85% of the sun but the open weave allows you to see through the material.

Also, have any of you installed your own window awnings and if so, would you share your thoughts on the process?

Last, what brand of awning do you prefer?

Cheers, and thanks for sharing

Joopy

By window awnings, do you mean roll out awnings or window covering screens? If it's the screens, you might check out this company:
Sunpro Mfg - RV & Motorhome Screens, Shades, Covers & More!

I installed their window coverings with the 90% solar block and am extremely satisfied with them. Great sun block and good view from inside during daylight. Easy installation with either snaps or "scotchlock" fasteners.

I have the material you described for the interior front windows an exterior windshield. It's great, holds up really well also used it years ago on a sailboat. I personally would not use it for roll out awnings or window awnings. For them my suggestion would be to use Sunbrella fabric. A good source for either material if your DIY is Sailrite. Google them up.

Thanks for the replies, guys. To clarify I'm asking about pull-out / roll up window awnings for the side windows. Carefree offers the "full view" material on their window awnings and I was curious about how folks like that material over the typical solid fabrics.

cheers,
Joopy
