I sometimes make a 'tinfoil tent' over mine due to the "haz mat" thing. It lets the 'ground radiation' return to the ground.

Good thing there wasn't any static electricity. Gould have been explosive with the casses.

I will have to find out where to ground it.

Then there's those of us who pick out boondock camping sites because of the probability of trains. My wife and I did a recent trip out and about BC and camped wherever there were good spots to train watch and train listen throughout the night. Highway one north of Hope BC and across to Kamloops has lots of such places and we've spent a night or two at most of them.

LOL- by the way, where do I purchase one of those fine devices? It would also be valuable when I solder something, I wouldn't need solder with flux as a core!

I tryed to select my vehicle make and model but they don't have a listing for an enterprise class starship. Closest thing is a honda accura.
