FYI Pilot visa charges.

FYI
Just finished a trip. Gassed up at Pilot 9 times.

When i went to check my visa acct i found that four of the nine charges were double charged the amount with separate entries.
Problem has since been corrected.
So if you have been to Pilot you might want to check your account.
Hopefully mine is a isolated case.
didn't have the problem at FJ or others.

Thanks for the heads up. That's pretty disturbing!

Did you put in your credit card at the pump, and then also give it to the clerk inside?

Got back from a trip to CA and AZ last month, got the Pilot/FJ bill today, only took two fill ups and a partial fill to use the $1,000 limit. Need to check my records and see if they charged me the correct price (cash minus 8¢ a gallon). I think one is wrong as they had to swipe the card inside as the pump one wouldn't accept the card.
Might pay to check the charges!

This double charge made the National news. According to Pilot, there was a problem with the computer system which has since been corrected. I suggest everyone make sure that it WAS corrected.

I paid at the pump on a trip home to Michigan from Georgia and when I got home, had a call from the CC company about three $600 (aprox) charges.
Long story short, a clerk inside used my card number for some online purchases. The charges were removed, no problem.
I'm still not afraid to use a CC, online, at a store, where ever.
