A GPS that consistently works! So far our Magellan Roadmate ranks right down there with the toilet paper in Russia, the wax paper kind . . .

My fly rod and spinning rods along with associated tackle. Why else would you go RV'ing other than to find new places to fish?

djnott, Best gadget.... temperature gun! I use it on every stop(fuel, shopping, ect.), on trailer tires/bearing hubs and truck tires and rear differential. Not really a "gadget", but something I hope to never use again.... : a short section of chain, to support trailer axle/hub while "limping" to town for parts and repairs. The result of a burned trailer bearing! memtb

djnott, A list from DW, who is the "gadet geek"....... #1 - Smart Phone with lots of apps( fuel, campgrounds, exits, ect). #2 - run 12 volt to entertainment center for a automototive radio/XM radio/ ipod. Our entertainment center was 120 AC, and required the inverter or generator. Now we have endless music - or Fox News. Indoor/outdoor temperature monitor - gives us an idea of "how many layers" of clothes we need to put on when headed-out hunting. #3 - Small chest freezer on seperate small inverter, lots of frozen food for the longer boondocking trips (also makes a great end table, beside the recliner), beats the heck out of coolers. memtb

djnott, Now, to add to my list of man cave gadgets. Tools.... a lot of tools. A big four way lug wrench, lug nuts @ 200 ft/lbs requires leverage. Eletric test meter. Hydraulic Bottle Jack. Tire chains/cables (camper and truck) for thoe "ugly" must-travel days. And lots of parts/pieces ( wire, fuses, wire nuts, tape, light bulbs,ect.). "We don't need no "stinking" repair shop"! Oh, gotta build a gun rack one day. memtb
