Looking forward to it, but scared of weather/wind/rain/flooding from this thread...!
Kent,
Extra blankets for the beach house. RV AC may not keep up with the daytime heat. Sometimes June is mild, sometims it can get in the upper 80's lower 90's.

Sorry, but we will most likely miss you. I only live 14 miles from Galveston. We'll be "Summer Birding" it by getting out of the heat. Typically we leave in May, might even be sooner in 2015.

Just bring beach ware if you are planning on spending some time soaking up Sun rays. Also money for the economy.

Will do Wayne. Sorry I'll miss you. My family (all 16 of them, 9 nieces and nephews, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 2 spouses, and stepmother) will be staying in a monster rental house right on the beach on Eagle Nest drive which is about 2 miles from this SP.

I'll be over there as well but plan on spending time with the pups on the beach. I can only imagine what the girls will do when we go for a walk and they see the tide.....I remember when I went to Myrtle Beach with my little dog Charlotte back then and boy did she get a charge out of that water coming in!

Will hope for 70's in mid June.... And no wind or hurricanes.

Oh! You'll see 70 degrees, but only at night.

Here is 2014 temperatures for June.

I do hope that there is an anomaly and you do have 70 degrees during the day.

Bring a heavy duty garden rake. Not a joke, sometime the seaweed and debris pile up and you will want a clean place to put your stuff on the beach
