Gas Grills

Trying to decide which grill to buy for camping. Heard good things about the weber baby q grill. Need something compact and user friendly. Any suggestions?

The Weber Q grills are great. We have the Q220, which is the slightly bigger one with the folding side tables and lid temp gauge.

We have the Weber Q220 also and it is great. The Baby Q now has folding side platforms. I would probably buy the BabyQ if I needed one. The big one is a little too big for our needs, as it turns out.

Funny how opinions differ. We've had ours nearly 4 years and I'd only give it a C+... It's held up well but requires the bottom tray to be filled with water to catch the drippings. Clean up can be pretty messy.

When I do replace it I think I'll try the Weber.

Good luck...

Rick

I use a Webber Baby Q and I like it enough that I use it at home rather than that big four burner outdoor grill. I use it not only for meat but baked potatoes, corn on the cob, k-bobs, shrimp, chicken, and some of those foil wrapped things my wife puts together. I've used the Baby Q for maybe eight years. It has a real thick/heavy cooking grate not one of those thin wire things.

I've had this grill since 2004 .As said the water is messy to clean so I stopped putting it in.No problem. Starting to show some wear. The new and improved model does't use water but the base is attached making it awkward to store.

Bought my Coleman as a demo...no instructions...never put water in the try in ours after 2 1/2 years and probably 20 LP changes???????

Folds flat with wheels and works great!!! Make mine Med Rare.

Weber "Q" or as I have the "Baby Q"... according to my son it cooks better and more evenly than his $1000 stainless steel grill.

I'm cheap , I just buy these cheap ones from Wally World, I purchased a real nice one once and wife basically said lets just keep buying the cheap ones. Last one going on two years. Pretty much go from 25.00-44.00.

There small and compact also.
