In LA in this case but I assume the rest of the state isn't far behind.

Hugh??? Who cares where the OP lives.. He is just reporting the cost of fuel in Cali... Seeing as this is an RV forum maybe some members would like to know this since they may be traveling to / thru Cali since that is what a lot of people tend to do in their RV lifestyle.........

WOW!

At that cost, won't see me there anytime soon. I do have family there, but at 8 plus mpg at that price! Nope!

That station appears to be operating on an exceptionally high margin.

According to Gas Buddy regular unleaded in Los Angeles is $3.85 to $3.99.

Even at that price, its way too much to travel to.

Yeah but look on the bright side. Their electric bills will be almost nothing, because they turned that off for many of the residents. You won’t catch me there, and I live 20 miles away from the border.

I'm in Fresno right now, diesel is $3.899 just down the street. I'll put enough in to get to OR when I leave for home in WA in a few days.

Everything's better in CA, that's why it costs more :-))

It is, however, a beautiful state.

After seeing most of it several times, I avoid driving through it as much as possible too.

N. Texas gas is 2.06. Buc-ees is under $2. CA is double that. 100 gal is $400. Not $200 I pay north of Dallas.

Wow!

Right now Houston is $2. 15 gas $2.53 Diesel.

Been 35 years since I drove to Ca. It’s a safe bet I’ll stay away till I die. Plenty of nicer places to spend my time.

Enjoy the journey
