Bad news on CNN this morning. An article
http://money.cnn.com/2005/03/04/news...ex.htm?cnn=yes
reports that gas will go up an average of 25 cents a gallon soon (just in time for RV season). I'm sure diesel will too. Our prices have been bouncing up and down a dime for several weeks. Regular unleaded was a $1.85 this morning.
I knew I should have kept all those soda bottles we used to pick up as kids 35 years ago instead of turing them in for two cents or a nickel to buy bubble gum. Could now be selling them on Ebay as antiques to buy gas with

Around here the price of gas is $1.999 and diesel is $2.199 That is rediculous. But what can we do about it? Not much that I can see, just complain and pay...........
BTW, That is within sight of the refinery....

Yesterday Morning gas was in the high 1.80 low 1.90 range. Yesterday evening it was over 2.10 almost everywhere.
That is what I would call soon!

We were at $1.99.9 for quite awhile. Now it is at $2.09.9 everywhere in Green Bay. They say it is going even higher. Nothing you can do about it except pay it and not take as many far trips this summer. I guess we will camp closer to home this year.

California diesel is $2.35/gallon. Even when it costs me $180.00 to fill up our tank all I can think about is we have 800 miles of fun !! I also have a credit card that gives me 5% off on fuel plus one cent from Flying J, every little bit helps. We're still going to travel.

The problem is China. Their economy is booming and they are outbidding everyone else in order to get the oil that they need.

Paid $2.019 at the Flying 'J' at exit 29 on I-95 in Georgia yesterday and paid $1.959 at a Shell at exit 10 on I-26 in South Carolina today.
This stuff ain't getting any cheaper!

Out here off I-15 it has been around $2.30 for the last month or so.
I really never figured that diesel would be a major portion of my "household" expenses!
I commute 90 miles a day and my pay has not go up as the fuel prices has increased. It is like a cut in pay to have to work away from home!
Well, I guess if fuel way back down around $1.00/gallon we would complain about the condition of the roads or something else.
Chet

Two weeks ago here in the Rio Grande Valley I was paying $1.59 for unleaded. This morning it was $1.85 and tonight it is $1.89. Don't have a clue as to why.
