I know there is a website where you can enter your zip code and get the local gas prices. We are going to be traveling from Oregon to NH next month and don't know the zip codes across the country. I go to Good Sam and map it which gives me gas prices but I don't know how accurate they are. Ex: The news says an area is over $3.00 but not when I do the Good Sam mapping.
Can people post the current gas prices where they are so the rest of us can have an idea of what is really going on? I assume others are interested.
I am currently in Brookings, OR. The gas ranges from $2.65 up.

www.gasbuddy.com
you can click on the map for where you want to be.
hope it helps

Art and Charlotte, you can alos go to www.flyingj.com and they post their prices by station each day at 6 A.M. You can look at their stations by state and then by city so you can plot via your route. Here in cental TN we are at $2.75 and the price has been going up 3 cents a day rfor the last 5 days, Ken....

The cheapest I've seen in the last several days in south Florida was 289.9 and if you are in Palm Beach County along the Turnpike or I-95 they are 305.9 and up (both prices above are for regular).
Take care.

We are currently in Morro Bay, CA and paid $3.069/gal today. When we left home on Monday, the 17th, we paid $2.999/gal. We filled once in Lathrop, CA at $2.799/gal.
We are still more than a month away from the beginning of "summer vacation travel time", May 31. How far will prices climb as the nation begins to travel? Only the oil company executives know what they plan to do.

When we're driving huge motorhomes and tow vehicles, it seems ludicrous to discuss the price of fuel.

It doesn't hurt to be thrifty and we all try to manage our money by checking flying J, Wal-Mart/Sams club, Loves. Many people with motor homes and toads are on fixed incomes and traveling from one volunteer job to another. We are always ready to help the other person and in Lebanon PA the price is now $2.859. I'm sure if you check one of the above stations it will be about .10 cents less.

I'm sure they are. But to think someone is going to re-route their whole trip several miles to save 5 or 10 cents a gallon just doesn't make sense. Or, worse yet, stay home. I can't imagine that happening.

Prices in Michigan are ranging from $2.79 to $2.89. Someone had a gas war yesterday and sold gas for the unbelievably LOW price of $2.44 for three hours....people waited upto 2 hours for 8 gallons.....sheeesh

Most stations are at $2.79/gallon for unleaded regular here in southwest Missouri, however, one of the leaders raised their price to $2.84/gallon this afternoon.
aaaaggghh!
