The USA must have the highest number of fuel stations per square mile in the whole world and most of them have enough room to turn a supertanker so why would you need an app to find one.

Live dangerously. Don't book ahead, don't use Google Earth to check your route and as Nike advocate - Just do it!

Yes I know, but for some places, they are not updated sometimes for days and sometimes whomever is doing the reporting does not update the diesel prices or any price but the one they are getting themselves. Just letting those that have not used it to be aware that it is driven by those that use it. Not to say it's bad it's just what it is.

We have a gas 35 foot Class A. We use credit cards from Shell, Chevron and 76. Sometimes we spot a huge gas station sign from the road.......can't see the station directly and drive to it. Guess what: a mini mart with 4 pumps and not nearly enough room for us.

Is there an app or website that we could use for our fill-ups?

The Next Exit is a good book to have with you...lists all fuel on the interstate highways, which side of the road it's on, IDs big rig accessibility, food, etc.

You can download the GasBuddy app on your android phone or tablets or iPhones or iPads. They will show gas prices in your area.

I prefer "The Next Exit" because it lists in red, the RV friendly gas stations as well as restaurants, WalMart, etc. Once I see the best exit to get off, I go to gas buddy to compare.

exactly what I was thinking........and things like the 12 foot overpass (11 ft 8 inch) come to mind as well as wild S curved roads.....and roads that trail of to goat trails.
