I just went to Port Susan RV Camping Club in northwest Washington to check out membership (Never having heard of this type) you can buy an RV lot for $0. to $30,000, the park was developed in 1972 as a members only camping park, there are over 2,000 spaces each seperated by a large green belt.
It is on indian land and prior to the current manager was very sloppely ran, thus resulting in a lot of trashy sites, still there.
You buy (Lease) the land and pay for the electricity, upkeep is up to you.
the rules are 14 pages long.
Nothing can be permanent, all flowers must be in pots and no tree cutting.
We could not but any land because my DW woke at 2am with bad allergies as a result of the pollen.
Have any of you ever dealt with this type of "Membership Camping" before.
I am still looking up in the Northwest for another one to use to compare with, if you know of one please let me know.

Larry: there used to be one down here called Campers Hideway up along Lake Merwin. Not even sure if they're selling memberships. We looked at them some 40 years ago as I remember.

I thought I was I'm an exclusive, gated RV community once but turned out I had stumbled into the Newmar forum.

kidding guys. Some of best best friends have Newmars.

No other experience in PNW but they're are others around. Members will chime in I'm sure.

My folks had a lot at Lake Conner near Lake Stevens Wa. Some units are semi-permanent but there was a stay limit so you could not be there full time. It has a lake, two pools, two club houses and is pretty close to a rails to trails path.

There is a simiar setup by Gold Bar, jusy across the river going east on sr2. I think you own the lot there too. I do not know its facilities other than being on the river.

There is also a membership campground at Birch Bay that has exchange agreements and lots of limitations. Lots of Canadians. We like that area but have free camping at our summer camp when we are up there.

I have to Port Susan and two the others over the years but not for a long time so I can't recomend one over the other.
