gcvwr locator

Where can I find truck ratings info for gcwr? all the various vehicle sites give gvwr only. I want to know at what years do newer trucks start showing higher combined weights.

sumjoe-

For Fords, you can find multiple years of their "RV and Trailer Towing Guide" at this link. I'm not a TT or fifth-wheel guy, but I think the guides have the information you seek.

One way to get to the Guides is through the Ford Body Builder Layout Book Web site (link here), under "Publications".
You can also find "Vehicle Specifications" there (link here); there are specs on the weights of the trucks themselves there.

I used the Towing Guide to find that information.
My owners manual was MIA when I bought my truck, though it's rumored to be in there somewhere.

Here's a link to the Ford online manuals site.
