Generac

I have a general o9592-3 generator that was running fine , but started running erratic and would not handle the load. Now when I try to start it manually all it does is run the fuel pump, but does not turn over. I can manually jump relay and it will start with me holding button down, but not by pushing switch. Oil is full, new plugs etc. is the fuel pump suppose to pressure up and then stop or does it keep running? Oh and fuse is good

does your unit have a Oil Low switch? I know Generac did have issues with this switch a few years ago.. if switch think your engine is low on oil (bad switch). engine will not try to start.

can not say about fuel pump.
