general rv birchrun update

had a few things service at general rv in birchrun mich. did nice job worked with kurt in service.little pricey but understand overhead.kept me in formed done on time and got free wash.only down fall they charge you half hour for estament.

Good to know. Had a friend that had lots of problems with General RV down in Woodhaven/Taylor.

Thank you for the update they are about 300 miles south of me and in line with my eastern route out of the Upper Penninsula.

If someone is in need of RV Service in the lower part of Mich, Kitsmiller RV in Mason Mi. 48854 is a Top Notch place to go!

Dealing right now with General in Wixom and it is very frustrating. I don't have the unit back so can't give a full report yet. One primary complaint is no one up front in the service dept. that has any technical expertise whatsoever. They are simply information takers and have to ask someone else for an answer then get back to you.

The Wixom office has three Customer Service people. Tammy- Chris & Jeff. All three are slow to get back with you. Their service tech's are good at what they do. If you have the time they eventually get it right. If you're in a hurry you better stay on top of them every week.
Took me a month to get a warranty toilet from them. Each week they had a different excuse.

Thanks for making yourself available to help us out. I shop the Wayland location for supplies when I'm at my place in Michigan. Took my neighbors, who have never had an RV, there to shop for a motorhome and the sales person spent a lot of time with them. They had a ton of questions and the salesperson answered them all.

Friendly folks and if I needed service, while in the area, I would use them!
