Which fuses did you check?

When you hold the button down do you hear the priming pump running?

Mechanic doing maintenance on our 1991 Damon Escaper Ultrasport. Thought had generator problem...turns out main gas tank was just to low for the feeder line. Line from generator doesn't run to the bottom on purpose. Unless you like stranding yourself lol

How full is you fuel tank. Eagles have a failsafe that won't allow genny to start if the tank is below a certain level.

also check the oil level. They won't run usually if oil is too low or too high
