This is a slute to a member of iRV2 that I'm sure many of you are familiar with. We've only been members for afew months, and while doing many hours of research on this wonderful site I saw his name quite often with very useful and intelligent advice so this weekend when my vintage furance of 30 plus years needed C.P.R. his name came to mind. I jumped on the site and searched him out. It didn't take long to find him I wasn't exactly sure how to post a question to him so I took a shot and sent him a private message. Within 2hrs I got a response. He spent pretty much his entire weekend online with me I felt like he was by my side the whole way even though we were across the country from each other. The temps were aproaching freezinng and I was starting to get concerned,my wife could not put on anymore clothes or socks for bed. This stranger walked me through my problem step by step until WE solved the problem TOGETHER! I feel so privleged to be part of a community with members such as this. He is what iRV2 is all about so if anyone ever bumps into this GENTLEMAN FROM VIRIGINA out there somewhere please shake his hand for me and hug from my wife. I believe he goes by Dave78Chief. Thank you Al and Andrea

Thank you for telling us about your experience with one of us. This was quite up lifting to know one person on this site would go the extra mile to help another. You both should be commended he for helping and you for appreciating it publicly.

That is very cool. I too am from Virginia originally. It's nice to read story's of selflessness and concern for others, just out of the goodness of somenone's heart. Kind gives you faith that's there's still hope for mankind.
