Getting too old to RV?
Wonder if you are in ok health how long do you continue to RV. I'm 72 and feel ok about continuing to RV for a long time. What is your age just wanting to see where everybody stands?

Personally, the number means nothing to me. It all depends on whether you can drive safely in what ever you are driving and your overall health.

I am sure that there are some people who are 50 years old who probably shouldn't be driving an R.V. So I guess it depends on each individual. Gale

I'm 77 and have two RVs, a Born Free Class C and a Lance slide-in camper on a Dodge 3500 DRW. Enjoy them both and not slowing down yet!

There are several snowbirds in our resort that are well into their 80's.

Getting too old to RV?
I've known several professional bus drivers in their 70's. Their driving skills are more a factor of their individual ability than their age in general.
Don't look to the calendar to either limit you or empower you. Look to your personal ability and attitude instead.

My uncle is 84 and is on his third motorhome with over 100,000 miles on it! Six months ago he had a blowout in Interstate 15 north of Vegas and changed his own tire. I wanna be like him when I grow up!

I'm 72, and my wife and I have a 10 week trip planned for this summer. And after that... well it's football season.

My father is 88 and he just now sold his Cass B, since my mother passed, he has no passion left for camping. They started in the mid 60's with a truck camper.

Age is just a number. I know a 70 yr old that is in just as good if not better health as me. I'm 41. Ive known 50 yr olds that I would swear are 80.

We were at Alliance Coach in March getting some upgrades and the couple next to us were 88 and 86. He decided it was time to trade their 45 foot coach in for something smaller and more maneuverable, so they bought a 38 footer. He had no plans to stop RVing anytime soon. I want to be like him when I grow up!

Age is not relevant. Physical condition is.
