Girard Awning

I am looking for someone that can do repairs on a Girard awning in the southeast.

The local "dealer" said I don't do many but I can look at it @$100.00 per hour.

If I pay $100.00 per hour I want someone who knows what they are doing, "Not I will look at it"

Thanks

I was surprised to find that what I thought were Girard awnings were actually Carefree on our Magna. Our two main awnings are the Carefree and the window awnings are electric Girards. No idea why they mixed them!
Did Winnebago use Girards?

One side goes in before the other. The non motorized end closes correctly while the end with the motor lacks about 3/4 inch from closing completely.
