GM Futureliner

Tonight (10/28) on the Velocity channel a program called "Bitchin' Rides" will be restoring an old GM Futureliner. There were very few of these made and I believe there are only about 9 known to exist. If you want to view an interesting rebuild of a day's gone by type of RV, tune in at 9 PM tonight.

If you have friends who make you laugh, spend lots of time with them.

Interesting Story on the Futureliner.......

In Lake Bluff Illinois not far from my shop there was 3 of them in front of an old restoration shop that was going out of business. They sat there for better than 10 years right off of Rt 41.
Then The Barrett-Jackson Auction happened and a restored Furtureliner sold for over 4 Million Dollars!!!!!!
Not 1 week later I drove over to that old resto shop and all 3 of the Futureliners were gone!!
Nobody seemed to know much about where they went but, they were never coming back!
So......who out there has them?? When are they going to resurface??? and for how much?!?!

I saw this restoration in person a couple of times. I have a truck that Kindig was working on at the same time, so I was in the shop a couple times. Really neat bus!

Kindigit is right next to my RV dealer, Motor Sportsland here in SLC.
