Good Awning Cleaner and Protection

I have a 2014 Tiffin Allegro Open Road and want to clean the awning and protect it as best I can from "mother nature." Two questions................

1. What is the best product out on the market to clean the awning?

2. What is the best product out on the market to protect it after it is cleaned?

Thanks.

Not sure about the best cleaner.

But for protection consider a spray called Camp Dry. It has been around for over 30 years and has a solid history of protecting fabrics better than many of the other products on the market. Before GoreTex was invented this was the number one choice by serious mountain climbers for use on fabrics.

I use Awesome from the dollar store....mix it with water in a small garden sprayer, get up on roof and spray the top side down....while wet, roll the awning back up for 15 minutes, then open back up and flush off with hose.....does both sides....
