I was going to mention that in some places you will run into insurance restrictions (i.e. commercial versus private rates), special vehicle inspection requirements (Illinois is one of these states), higher yearly licensing, etc.
Here in IL they have started being very strict on licensing based on GVWR whether or not you are anywhere hear that with a load or not. Registration on my last F350 dually was nearly triple because the dang thing had 13,300 lb on the door sticker. Just silly.
With a good dually you can do anything you want - I'd pick either Ford or Ram at this point based on features and performance.
We have a DP now but I have had several heavy duty pickups over the last 8 years and the dually ones fit the bill for almost any RV application.
