Am I the only one, or is anyone else sick of the Good Sam Club sending them tons of junk mail trying to get you to buy something. It seems that GS has become a real profit seeking business. I know that any business must make money, but I think GS has gone too far. I'm sick of all the junk mail I get from them. Trailer Life publications is the worst. I ordered Next Exit in Jan. and have yet to receive my copy. Them are full of lame excuses. I will not buy from them again and I am going to join FMCA today. There...I feel better.

Craig, that is the reason I no longer belong.
When you belong to anything they have they send out a notification that payment is due when you may still have 6 or 8 months left to go. Too money hungry for a company.

One can opt out of their mail campaigns. Try it, it works. Good Sam has been this way since I joined in 1978. It is nothing new. I also have recently complained, to them and in writing, about their taking my $s and not delivering the goods in a timely fashion. For me, there is a business case for the membership. Every once and a while their "junk" mail does provide me an opportunity to save $s. All things being considered, GS is a benefit to me, a life member for many years.

I was able to stop all of the Good Sam junk mail with one phone call to them.
Perhaps I was lucky.

I try to avoid doing busines with the whole Affinity Group. They seem set on establishing a monoply on anything RV.

Took over a year after not renewing to finally get rid of the junk. We also dumped FMCA since we really weren't getting much out of it either.
