I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A MEMBER OF AAA AND A FEW TIMES
I HAVE ACTUALLY USED THEM AND THEY SAVED ME A
BUNDLE... NOW THAT I HAVE A TRAILER SOMEONE SAID
I WOULD BE WISE TO JOIN GOOD SAM CLUB, IF I BREAK DOWN THEY WOULD NOT ONLY TOW MY TRUCK BUT MY TRAILER TOO.. ANYONE GIVE ME SOME INFO.. AM NEW TO
CAMPING HAVE A 26 FT. 2005 PALOMINO
THOROUGHBRED, AND PULL IT WITH A 2001 CHEVY
SILVERADO.. THANKS

Say no more I am 2 years and not used them YET..Good insurance I think.1 tow and Kiss $300.00 By By .and the extras are there ...Just My .02...Great to hear from You folks keep us all informed as to Your camping and fun times .....Bushamn Eh.

Hello Patticat,

I've had the Good Sam ERS for 10 years and am very satisfied. If you'll do a search on 'ERS' you'll get several informative threads discussing the Good Sam ERS along with some others.

Also, I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but posting in the forums in all caps is perceived as shouting; I don't think you intended to be shouting your question.

Welcome aboard. We have been using ERS for well over 10 years and no problems. Wwe had had them out for flats, lock out and stuck in the mud. Longest we had to wait was about 2 hours when we were in the boonies in eastern Oklahoma. They respond and follow up to be sure the service has arrived.

The plus is they cover my truck, trailer and my wife's car whether the truck is hooked up to the trailer or not. My wife has used them to change a tire and dead battery on her car and servce was with in 30 minutes.

I was also a member of AAA. When I purchased my Class B RT, I contacted them and would have had an increase in my membership fee. I found Good Sam ERS to be a better deal, and safer bet, as they know RV's, whereas AAA, depending on the operator, may not send the tow vehicle you need. Good luck in your search, and may it be the 'insurance policy' you have and never use!

Just a heads up: Joining the Good Sam Club doesn't automatically sign you up for their ERS. Good Sam's Emergency Road Service is a separate service which you must sign up and pay for. You can get more information here.

While you're shopping for another ERS service, I hear that Coach Net is also a good bet(I'm not assoc. with them in any way!).

Hi All,

I have had Coach Net since 2000, used them a couple of times with no problem. Besides covering my motorhome and toad (which is also wifes car) then also cover my truck and both kids vehicles. Plus you can even use it if you are in another persons vehicle and it brakes down. They also have RV techs who can give you advice on how to fix things like water heater and stuff like that. They just seem to give me the most for my money

!!!

I'll third the plug for CoachNet . I have needed towing twice in the last 3-year and have been totally satisfied with the results. They are very professional and easy to do business with. The last tow cost was over $200 for less than 5 miles.
