Good Sam Club Extended Service

Is this worth it? Wondering if with a 2011 new rig this is something to get.

I did it on mine just for the peace of mind. There are so many systems that can go belly up. I guess it all depends on how big of a repair bill you feel comfortable with

Don't you have existing coverage for a period of time included with a new unit warranty?

I did it on my new TT in 2004 and have kept it current ever since. Haven't had to use it, but it's nice to know it's there. The way it was explained to me was, the extended service plan takes effect after the MFG warranty expires. Mine runs about $500/yr with the Gold Coverage. Read the policy carefully so you know what to expect.

So the best thing to do is have coverage "AFTER" the mfg warranty expires?

Keep in mind that a year goes by pretty fast. I bought mine when the rig was brand new. Actually just switched it over from the rig I had. Most of the Mfg warranties expire after a year. At least with mine. It's like gambling. Win a few, lose a few. All depends on what you feel comfortable with
