I had a GS policy the first year ai had this MH. I needed an inverter. They paid for a" rebuilt one, not a new one......If your rig is in pretty good shape, and you take good care of it, I maintain you would be money ahead if you just deposit the amount of the premium in a saving account. Just for RV repair.

I'm sure you're right about this... otherwise these companies wouldn't stay in business. IMO, the problem is that none of us KNOW for sure if this statement will prove true in our particular situation and it only takes one blown diesel to really put a dent in that maintenance account.

Like other insurance policies, it's a matter of how well they help us sleep at night. Mine just expired and I didn't renew but I don't regret buying it in the first place because as a newbie it provided me with peace of mind. It turns out, that after its six year term, I did recoup the cost of the policy but I'm sure that's not typical.
